Smashing words together makes Wiki Words. At a minimum, a Wiki Word has to have a capital letter, some lowercase letters, another cap, and more lowercase. If you write such a word, it automatically links to the page with that title. If there is no such page, the link will show up in a different way (currently red, with a dashed underline), and clicking through will let you create that page yourself. (Assuming you've signed in.)
